Millstream Hotel Official FAQs
Check-in is 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
We have a private car park at the back of the hotel, with paid-for parking in the village car park just a five-minute walk away if needed.
We have 2 electric car charge points within our car park that guests can pay to use. Payment can be made at the time of usage via credit or debit card or accessed via the Project EV Pro app.
Dogs may stay with guests who book the Waterside Cottage Suites. Priced at £25 per night inclusive of bowl, blanket, treats and waste bags. Please note dogs are not permitted in the main building but are welcome on Marwick’s Terrace.
The Millstream has six different choices of bedrooms; starting with a Classic bedroom to a Suite. Other options include a Premium, Superior Garden bedroom, Waterside Cottage Suites and First Floor Suite. Classic, Premium, Single, Superior garden room, Waterside Cottage suites and a First floor suite. Bedrooms are available as a double or twin configurations and single Classic bedrooms are available. A Premium wheelchair accessible bedroom is located on the ground floor.
In addition to hotel bedrooms we also offer three self-catering apartments just 100 metres from the Millstream. Known as Laneside Holiday Homes, they compromise of one and two bedroom options and are fully equipped for a self-catering stay of two or more nights.
Our rates include full traditional cooked to order breakfast with an extensive hot & cold selection to choose from. Breakfast is served from 8am until 10am.
The Millstream Hotel has two restaurants, the 2 AA Rosette Sea School Restaurant and Marwick’s Brasserie. The Sea School is open daily for dinner (6.15pm to 8.45pm) and Marwick’s daily for lunch (12.15pm to 1.45pm) and dinner (6.15pm to 8.45pm). Guests on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis have breakfast in the Sea School Restaurant, and dinner in either the Sea School or Marwick’s Brasserie.
Guests staying on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate will have a £50.00 per person dinner allowance to be used for evening meal food items only; any food items exceeding £50.00 per person will be charged to the room bill. Any unused allowance will not be applied towards beverages or refunded to the guest.
Yes, afternoon tea is available daily from 3pm to 4pm from Wednesday to Sunday and needs to be booked 24 hours in advance. The menu is updated throughout the year to reflect the seasons. Cream teas and light bites are available without having to book.
Yes, we can. Should you wish to learn about our ingredients by dish and the 14 main allergens as defined by the Food Standards Agency, please speak with a member of our team during your visit who will be able to provide you with a comprehensive list.

Non-residents are most welcome for a morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, a drink in the bar or for dinner. Dining reservations can be made on our website or by calling us directly on 01243 573234.
Please note that the dress code for the Sea School Restaurant is smart casual, with no shorts or sportswear for dinner.
We can host a wide variety of events, dinners, family gatherings, funeral receptions, celebrations of life and weddings. Our location is within private grounds and provides an attractive setting that can cater for drinks receptions in our gardens or even a wedding ceremony.

We can reserve a car park space and can discuss ground floor bedroom options to best suit your requirements. We have an easy access bedroom complete with walk in shower, wider door frames and space to navigate a wheelchair. • There is a car drop off point outside reception.
• The reception area has seating for guests to wait.
• There is a disabled toilet located near reception.
• Staff will assist with luggage and room guests on check-in if requested.
• There are several bedrooms on the ground floor, all of which are easily accessible from reception and other parts of the hotel. Please note there is a lift to the first floor and this will be non-operable should an evacuation be required. Guests staying on the first floor will need to be able to use the stairs in this eventuality.
• The restaurant, lounge and bar are on the ground floor without any steps. Waiter service is provided.
• The garden is accessible from the lounge and does not have steps.
• There is a tarmacked path throughout the grounds to enable wheelchair access should you wish to explore our gardens.
• The whole of the ground floor is accessible to wheelchairs.
• All corridors and public areas are well lit.
